Join the Institute for Emerging Issues for the 2025 Emerging Issues Forum: Future Forward Energy. This event will bring people together to examine the demands being placed on North Carolina's energy landscape due to an influx of energy-intensive businesses, population growth, extreme weather and more. Sessions will focus on energy affordability, workforce demands and community infrastructure investments. Attendees will hear from leaders with CLEAResult, Duke Energy, IBM, NC Clean Energy Technology Center, NC Electric Cooperatives, NC Utilities Commission, U.S. Department of Energy and many others. North Carolina Governor Josh Stein and NC State Chancellor Kevin Howell will make remarks. This is the first Emerging Issues Forum in the 2025-2027 Future Forward Infrastructure series.
