Join NC State alumnus Jai Chakrabarti and Jill McCorkle, a professor of the practice Department of English, for an evening of conversation about their most recent works.

Chakrabarti is the author of the celebrated novel A Play for the End of the World, which won the National Jewish Book Award. His most recent book, A Small Sacrifice for an Enormous Happiness, features “lush, immersive stories set in India and America about people trying to make families,” according to Kirkus Reviews.

Five of McCorkle's books made the New York Times Notable Books list, and Life After Life made the New York Times Best Seller list. Her latest novel, Hieroglyphics, dives into the burden of secrets carried across generations.
