Join us as we explore the Khayrallah Center’s newest project, “Abdou’s Directory.” Akram Khater and Lindsey Waldenberg will walk through the project highlighting al-Safar al-Mufid (Dr. Abdou’s Travels), the first published directory of “Syrian” immigrants located throughout the world. Along with the directory’s history and contents, we will discuss the directory’s author, Dr. Nagib Abdou, and explore the digitized directory through a searchable database and exciting data visualizations.
