About this Event
1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27695
https://www.lib.ncsu.edu/events/accessfest-0Join accessibility practitioners from across campus for AccessFest 2026, a day-long, drop-in event designed to help NC State faculty and instructors improve digital course accessibility. This is not a workshop with formal instruction — it’s a practical, come-and-go opportunity to work on your own materials in a supportive environment with help from DELTA, the Office of Information Technology, the Office of Equal Opportunity, the NC State University Libraries and members of the NC State Accessibility Collaborative.
Bring any materials you’d like to remediate: documents, PDFs, slide decks, your Moodle space, websites, multimedia or other course assets. Accessibility experts will be available throughout the day to answer questions, provide guidance and help you address specific issues in your materials.
To get the most out of your time, we recommend completing Digital Accessibility Basics, a roughly 30-minute, self-paced online course, before attending.
AccessFest is your opportunity to work directly with experts to learn digital accessibility best practices and make your course materials accessible to all learners.
