SIGGRAPH is the premier industry conference for computer graphics and interactive techniques worldwide. The Computer Animation Festival Electronic Theater 2023, a qualifier for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is the pinnacle of animation excellence. Discover the evolution of animation and the limitless possibilities ahead through this showcase of short stories told through computer graphics. This is one of the few industry conference reels where you will see student animations next to professional work by companies like Disney and Dreamworks. SIGGRAPH is also one of the best venues for students to network with professionals in the industry and line up internships and job opportunities. SIGGRAPH 2024 will be in Denver in August, and MADTech is offering two scholarships to attend as volunteers. Any student can also enter their short animation into this year's Electronic Theatre Festival for free until March 19th. 

Come out on March 19th at 6:00 pm to Burns Auditorium to learn more about SIGGRAPH from MADTech Professor Topher Maraffi (who has attended SIGGRAPH since 1996), and hear more from SIGGRAPH Chapter club members who attended SIGGRAPH last year before watching the latest Electronic Theatre reel.
