Is your job safe in the age of artificial intelligence? Join the Data Science Academy for a panel discussion that will unpack the capabilities and limitations of generative AI and explore its impact on the future of work for marketers, creators and beyond. Ray Levy, executive director of DSA, will moderate this discussion. The panelists will be:

  • Jared Dean, principal artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions architect at Amazon Web Services.
  • Huiling Ding, professor of English, a University Faculty Scholar and the director of labor analytics and workforce development at DSA.
  • Bill Rand, executive director of the Business Analytics Initiative and the McLauchlan Distinguished Professor of Marketing and Analytics at the Poole College of Management.

This panel discussion is part of the AI @ NC State Hot Topics Series hosted by DSA at NC State University on Centennial Campus. The series is an opportunity for people curious about AI to network with experts, scholars and practitioners. A small group from industry and academia explores a new topic in AI research, ethics and practice at each forum. Through these conversations, we envision new opportunities to build industry-academia-government partnerships, collaborations and communities.

Parking will be available at the Oval West Parking Deck.
