Please join the Data Science and AI Academy for the AI @ NC State Hot Topic series, an opportunity for people curious about artificial intelligence to network with experts, scholars and practitioners. A small group from industry and academia will explore a new topic in AI research, ethics and practice at each forum. Through these conversations, we envision new opportunities to build industry-academia-government partnerships, collaborations and communities.

The topic at the Oct. 16 forum will be Causal AI and High Stakes Decisions. Sarah Eagan Warren, a teaching assistant professor at the Institute for Advanced Analytics and a DELTA faculty fellow, will moderate the forum. 

This interdisciplinary event can appeal to NC State community members from many different colleges and departments. We welcome and encourage the industry to support their speakers.
