Please join the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative for the AI and Machine Learning  Education Series With NVIDIA. This session will cover what computer vision is, how computer vision works (classification, object detection, segmentation), some of the popular frameworks and models used today and some of the practical applications that might be used in research and industry. We'll also review a typical computer vision project lifecycle.

The session will conclude with a 20-minute rapid mini-workshop via Jupyter Notebook. We'll use code examples to build a CNN image classifier and use pretrained model libraries for object detection and image segmentation.
