DESCRIPTION:Nvidia\, Mark III Systems and NC State Office of Information Te
 chnology will host a series of virtual workshops about artificial intellig
 ence and machine learning. Each session will feature industry experts who 
 will use tutorials and hands-on rapid labs to dive into a current trend ar
 ound Al and machine learning. These sessions are open to anyone who would 
 like to attend. Registration is required\, and each session has its own re
 gistration form.\n\nJoin us for Intro to Machine Learning and AI: The Basi
 cs\, a Tutorial and Lab. In this session\, we’ll cover what is machine l
 earning\, different machine learning techniques and methods\, a typical ma
 chine learning project lifecycle and the most commonly used example algori
 thms.\n\nThis session will also include a 20-minute rapid mini-workshop vi
 a Jupyter Notebook. We'll use an example dataset from Kaggle and take it t
 hrough the steps of training and evaluating a model to make predictions us
 ing machine learning.  Examples of labs that we'll utilize include forecas
 ts using machine learning for anomaly detection and for classifying biolog
 ical states.
