 alternative response program — outside of the Raleigh Police Department 
 — to address further our community’s need for crisis prevention and ma
 nagement.\n\nYour input is meaningful and powerful. We believe in empoweri
 ng residents to actively participate in shaping the safety measures that w
 ill directly affect their lives. The city wants to:\n\nWork directly with 
 the community to ensure public concerns and aspirations are consistently u
 nderstood and considered.Reflect those concerns and aspirations into the a
 lternatives developed.Obtain feedback on common themes and learn about wha
 t may be missing in the proposed themes.Seek ideas on a name for the progr
 am.The city will host several community engagement opportunities and colle
 ct data through quantitative and qualitative methods. Starting in late 202
 3\, the city plans to offer various opportunities for community involvemen
 t\, including pop-up events with the city’s community engagement van\, l
 istening sessions\, a telephone line for feedback\, an online survey and c
