Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply to the NC State Extension Summer Internship Program. The program prepares students for challenging and rewarding careers. In 2024, 30 internships are available across North Carolina.

Interns work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks and will earn $12 per hour or $4,800 over the 10 weeks. Visit the FAQ page for information about qualifications, academic credit, how to apply and more. Applicants must submit the following by Feb. 21:

• Two references with contact information.
• A resume that includes their major and current GPA.
• Their latest college or university transcript. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
• A list of specific county locations to which the applicant is applying. You may all to all counties.
