Dominyka Voelkle, AIA
Associate, BIG
Dominyka Voelkle is an Associate at BIG. She has extensive experience with building envelope design and planning for commercial and cultural buildings throughout the United States and Europe, and is an important resource on BIG’s design teams. Dominyka has served as Project Manager for many of BIG’s most prominent projects including The Spiral, a glass curtainwalled high-rise and BIG’s largest project in New York City to date; and River Ring, a residential high-rise and public resiliency plan in Brooklyn, New York.
Dominyka also led design of the panelized façade for Google’s new London headquarters building, which is currently in construction. Prior to joining BIG, Dominyka was a Design Architect at REX where she oversaw the enclosure design for Mercedes-Benz Extension and Future Center, a cultural building in Stuttgart, Germany; and led the façade team for the winning entry to design the Performing Arts Center at World Trade Center in New York.
