Join the Gregg Museum of Art & Design for an artist talk by Michelle Van Parys, whose work is on display at the Gregg Museum in Selections From the Collections

Van Parys received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. and her Master of Fine Arts in photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her photographs have been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions. In 2009, the Center for American Places at Columbia College Chicago published a monograph of her pictures titled The Way Out West: Desert Landscapes. Van Parys has received the Virginia Museum Fellowship and the South Carolina Arts Commission Fellowship. 

Several museum collections include Van Parys' works, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The High Museum, the Virginia Museum of Fine Art and the Portland Art Museum. This talk is in conjunction with the Click! Photography Festival
