Kennedy Ryan, a best-selling and award-winning romance novelist, will discuss her book Reel with Angela Gay-Audre, Ph.D., director of the African American Cultural Center at NC State. Kennedy will take photos after the program, sign and personalize one book and sign one other book.

A limited number of free tickets are available for NC State students. Students must register to receive a ticket. Members of the general public can purchase tickets through Quail Ridge Books.

Reel is about a Broadway actress who has a chance at stardom when cast by a major Hollywood director, but the role of her dreams may cost her the love of a lifetime in this epic novel from one of the finest romance writers of our age, according to Entertainment Weekly.
