Holly Black is a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of fantasy novels, including the Novels of Elfhame. Black will join readers in Raleigh on her national tour for her new book, The Prisoner’s Throne. The book takes place after the shocking events in The Stolen Heir. Prince Oak is in deeper trouble than ever before. As his situation grows more precarious, Oak is desperate to find a way out, before all of Elfhame is caught in the coming storm.

Black will discuss the book and take live questions from the audience. Black will sign copies of The Prisoner’s Throne and up to two backlist titles. Backlist titles will be available for purchase at the event. Black will only sign copies of her book. She will not include personal messages when she signs books, and she won't sign memorabilia. Black will take candid photos when she signs books, but she won't take selfies or stand or pose for photos. A bookseller will be on hand to take photos for you.

A limited number of free tickets are available for NC State students on a first-come, first-served basis. Students must register to reserve their tickets. Members of the general public must purchase tickets from Quail Ridge Books
