https://www.lib.ncsu.edu/events/author-event-henry-winklerJoin Quail Ridge Books and NC State University Libraries for a conversation and Q&A session with Emmy-award-winning actor Henry Winkler, best known for his role as “The Fonz” on the hit TV show Happy Days. Winkler will discuss Being Henry: The Fonz...and Beyond, a deeply thoughtful memoir about the lifelong effects of stardom and the struggle to become whole. Filled with profound heart, charm and self-deprecating humor, Winkler's memoir is about so much more than a life in Hollywood and the curse of stardom. It is a meaningful testament to the power of sharing truth and kindness and of finding fulfillment within yourself.
Members of the general public who purchase a ticket to this event will receive a copy of Winkler's book. Tickets are available for purchase on the Quail Ridge Books website.
There are a limited number of free tickets available for NC State students only on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students should register here. Reserve a ticket only if you are sure you will be able to attend. The free student tickets won't include a copy of Winkler's book, but books will be available for on-site purchase.
