The Women's Equality Day Banquet provides an occasion for CALS and NC State to reaffirm how valuable all NC State women are to the university and CALS. The banqet also commemorates the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment, which acknowledged and legalized a woman’s right to vote, to the U.S. Constitution. The CALS Office of Diversity and Inclusion is the event sponsor.
