Dr. Kyle Jason Rehder, an alumnus of NC State, is the vice chair of the Office of Pediatric Education in the Duke Department of Pediatrics and a physician quality officer for Duke University Health System. Rehder, a pediatric intensivist and an educator, focuses on patient safety. Rehder earned a medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering, biochemistry, chemistry and multidisciplinary studies at NC State.

Rehder will be a guest speaker for Career Conversations. The 30- to 45-minute discussions are hosted by the Exploratory Studies program and allow students to connect with people working in a variety of industries to learn about their current occupational and professional experiences.
