Join NC State for a celebration of sustainability accomplishments on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. This annual event honors the people, projects and progress that advance sustainability at NC State.

The celebration will include a Sustainability Showcase starting at 8:30 a.m. where you can browse student displays on sustainability-related projects.  Students,  student organizations, departments and researchers are invited to share their sustainability-focused research and projects in a science-fair style format. Light refreshments will be served during this time.

A recognition program will start by 9:30 a.m. and include an announcement of NC State Sustainability Awards winners and NC State Sustainability Fund grant recipients. Following the program at 10:15 a.m., please stay for informal networking.

This celebration is one of the hallmark events of NC State's Earth Month and is hosted by the NC State Sustainability Council, Climate and Sustainability Academy and the University Sustainability Office.
