Join us for a beta-test of Community Conversations: Affordable Housing, a two-hour participatory dialogue-based game about affordable housing. Community Conversations: Affordable Housing poses evocative and sometimes challenging questions aimed at having participants reflect on their values and opinions related to issues like tenants rights, leases, zoning laws and the term “affordability.” We hope participants will come ready to share and to learn with their peers, as well as provide feedback that will help create a set of engagement materials that feels authentic, relevant, and informative.

The Museum of Life and Science, in partnership with the city of Durham’s Neighborhood Improvement Services and Families Moving Forward, Durham’s largest homeless shelter serving families, developed Community Conversations: Affordable Housing.
