Join the Women's Center for a crafting session in preparation for Denim Day, an international day of support for survivors of sexual violence. We will create denim-themed crafts as a show of support and have a photo shoot so you can show off what you create. The session is part of the university's programming for Sexual Awareness Month.

Denim Day, which takes place on the last Wednesday of April, was inspired by an Italian Supreme Court ruling. The court overturned a conviction in a rape case when it ruled that "since the victim was wearing tight jeans, she must have helped the person who raped her remove them, thereby implying consent," according to the Denim Day website.
