Innovative technological advancements, academic research and manufacturing resources will be on display during the Defense Manufacturing Summit and Exhibition. The summit will include the first exhibition in North Carolina of the Ryse Aerotech Recon, an ultralight electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle. Attendees will have an opportunity to take the craft for a test drive. The summit also will include an unveiling of the new Polaris MRZR Alpha, an off-road, all-terrain vehicle. Representatives from numerous defense manufacturing organizations and research institutions, such as Fayetteville State University, NC State University and the Fort Liberty Research Institute, will attend the summit to share innovations and advancements in technology in the industry.
