 ine and increasing speed to market with state-of-the-art textile processin
 g and cut-and-sew equipment.\n\nMelissa Sharp will provide an overview of 
 the recently awarded National Science Foundation Engines grant. NC State U
 niversity will serve as a core partner in a regional research effort to ad
 vance U.S. capacity for textile innovation that ensures environmental sust
 ainability by recycling waste materials into fibers for new textiles. The 
 effort will receive up to $15 million for two years and up to $160 million
  over 10 years.
