Join the Linguistic Diversity Ambassadors and the Khayrallah Center for Lebanese Diaspora Studies for a screening of Cedar of the Pines: History of the Lebanese in North Carolina. A 30-minute discussion and Q&A session will follow the documentary screening. Please stay for a surprise special treat at the end of the event.

The Department of English's Language and Life Program helped to produce Cedars in the Pines. The one-hour film premiered March 28, 2012, at the North Carolina Museum of History in downtown Raleigh. The film showcases an array of collected letters, photos and books and interviews with first-, second- and third-generation North Carolinians of Lebanese descent.
