About this Event
Add to calendarJoin professor Jennifer Nolan for a lecture titled "Research Redirected: A Pandemic Story." Nolan will address the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on her research over the past 19 months and how the inaccessibility of archives framed and shaped her work. Nolan will discuss two forthcoming projects. The first is a tale of publishing history and features a return to her ethnographic roots to complete a lingering project on P.D. James’s reception in America by interviewing Charles Scribner III. The second is a story about collaboration, featuring the unsung heroes of academic research: librarians and archivists.
