Are you ready to thrive at NC State? If so, join the African American Cultural Center (AACC) for the fall EQUIP Academic Workshop. The workshop is designed to help first-year students master the academic transition to NC State. Co-facilitated with campus partners and peer leaders, this interactive session will focus on practical skills, such as college-level study strategies, major exploration, syllabus navigation and building effective relationships with faculty and advisors. The session will also include:

• An interactive mini-workshop: Get real-world tips, tricks and time-management strategies from Academic Success Center experts.
• Group discussion: Chat with your peers, share what’s working and what’s not and build a toolkit together.
• What I Wish I Knew student panel: Hear unfiltered advice, honest stories and proven study hacks from experienced student leaders who have been in your shoes.

You'll leave with real strategies, better habits and a connection to student leaders.
