Do you want to make the most of your first year at NC State? If so, join the African American Cultural Center (AACC) for an EQUIP interest meeting to learn how this year-long program can help you build the college experience you actually want — both inside and outside the classroom.

What is EQUIP? EQUIP stands for Empower, Question, Understand, Initiate and Partner. Designed specifically for first-year students, EQUIP supports you in cultivating self-awareness, community and resilience. As an EQUIP participant, you’ll get:

• One-on-one guidance at monthly check-ins with dedicated staff and support from an embedded AACC counselor
• Skill-building opportunities at interactive learning labs focused on self-awareness, resilience and navigating campus resources
• Access to AACC signature events, wellness activities, and EQUIP special programming to help build your network

Stop by an interest meeting to learn how to unlock your full potential at NC State. Contact Andaiye Qaasim, assistant director of the AACC, at aaqaasim@ncsu.edu if you have questions.

Registration is required.
