Join the Gregg Museum of Art & Design for a free screening of the documentary Repatriation to Restoration and a conversation about repatriation. We invite you to reflect on the responsibility museums hold in returning sacred objects to their rightful communities. Filmmakers Ben West and Yancey Burns of the Rena Flying Coyote Collective explore that responsibility in the film. The Rena Flying Coyote Collective is a nonprofit dedicated to sharing Indigenous stories through film, television and the arts.

Following the screening, Nancy Chavis, director of the Museum of the Southeast American Indian at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, will join West and Burns for a brief discussion about the film and a Q&A with the audience. Registration is required to attend the screening.
