The Global Film Series will present a screening of Night Is Short, Walk on Girl. In this comedy about one epic night in Kyoto, a college sophomore goes on a series of surreal encounters with the local nightlife, all the while unaware of the romantic longings of her classmate Senpai. This film is rated 14 for mature thematic material that may not be suitable for young audiences. Parental discretion is advised.

About the Global Film Series

The Global Film Series at NC State is a collaborative initiative to bring a variety of international and globally-focused films to campus. Interdisciplinary partners across campus select films from current releases, documentaries and classics highlighting the joys and struggles of the global community in which we live. These films also provide a venue for faculty, staff, and students to share their global experiences and expertise with a wider campus and community audience. All films feature an academic introduction and an opportunity for reflection at the film's conclusion.
