The process of transitioning from military to civilian life can pose challenges for service members and their families. NC State University staff and faculty can help student veterans navigate those challenges by becoming a Green Zone ally. Our allies help student veterans by providing a sympathetic ear and referring them to appropriate on-campus resources. If you would like to be an ally, click here and sign up for Green Zone training. The training provides:

• An understanding of the military experience and the emotional cycle of deployment.
• An understanding of the potential issues facing undergraduate and graduate student veterans as they transition from the military to our campus.
• An awareness of the resources available to student veterans and their families on and off our campus.
