Staff at the Global Training Initiative invites students to a virtual information session to learn about the cultural exchange program that will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in December. NC State undergraduate students majoring in computer science programs can apply for a fully-funded week-long training and cultural exchange with students at King Abdulaziz University. This winter break travel program to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will include:

  • Workshops related to culture and gender.
  • Chaperoned tours of historic and cultural sites.
  • Cultural exchange with King Abdulaziz University students.
  • A co-curricular certificate in cultural competence.

The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy will cover airfare, lodging and meals for the six NC State students who are selected to participate.
