How do we think, talk and write about the climate crisis and climate anxiety? Award-winning author Jenny Offill will read from and discuss Weather, a novel that also considers all of these questions. Bestselling novelist and short story writer Jill McCorkle, author of Old Crimes, and Kathie Dello, state climatologist and co-director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Carolina Climate Adaptation Partnership, will join Offill.

The Office of University Interdisciplinary Programs, the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program, NC State Climate Solutions Collaborative, and the NC State University Libraries will present this event. It's free and open to the public, but registration is requested. Participants can purchase copies of Weather and Old Crimes at the event site.
