Explore the serene waters of Beaver Dam Lake on this guided kayaking adventure nestled within the Falls Lake State Recreation Area. This unique reservoir offers a tranquil paddling experience away from motorized boat traffic, making it ideal for beginners and wildlife enthusiasts. Paddle the lake and explore small coves while surrounded by a forested landscape that serves as a rookery for herons, ospreys and bald eagles.

Paddling experience is not required to participate, but participants must be able to swim and undergo a swim test during a pre-trip meeting that will occur Sept. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Transportation, equipment and instruction are included.
