Join Student Leadership and Engagement at the Walnut Creek Wetland Park in southeast Raleigh on Thursday, April 15, and help remove invasive plant species from the wetland park. April 15 is an NC State wellness day, so there won't be classes, and you can enjoy the outdoors while cleaning up invasive species.

We will not provide vehicle transportation to the wetland park, but participants can ride a bike to and from the wetland park, courtesy of bikes rented by Student Leadership and Engagement. Those who want to participate in the bike ride should meet Haley Johnson outside of Carmichael gym at 9:20 a.m. on the day of the event.

Make sure to bring a water bottle and a snack if desired. Plan to wear long pants and other clothes that you don't mind getting wet, muddy or torn, and closed-toed shoes you don't mind getting muddy. Participants will be provided gloves.

If you have questions, email Johnson at Hope to see you there
