The Women's Center and the African American Cultural Center will honor the sentiments of nia, one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, by creating a space for students to unpack purpose and how purpose is cultivated in their lives. Nia means to work collectively to build communities that will restore the greatness of African people. Students will develop a personalized album that symbolizes and embodies the purpose placed over their lives.
