The Lavender Graduation Celebration is held nationwide at colleges and universities to recognize LGBTQ+ graduates and acknowledge their achievements and contributions. These exemplary students are cheered on by family and friends who may not want or be able to attend the May commencement and honored using their correct names and pronouns. 

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their work with the LGBTQ+ community? Each year at the NC State celebration, three students receive awards. You can nominate yourself or someone else you believe embodies the spirit of each award. Go to the LGBTQ Pride Center website to learn more about the awards, and complete this form to nominate yourself or someone else. The nomination deadline is March 22.
