DESCRIPTION:Psychological safety is the belief that it’s OK to take interpe
rsonal risks without fear of undue consequences. In a psychologically safe
environment\, people are more likely to speak up when they see their team o
r organization heading down the wrong path. They’re more likely to brainsto
rm and experiment in ways that help teams innovate\, and they’re less likel
y to go along with risky behaviors that create an unsafe workplace. Psychol
ogical safety allows a person to be themselves\, which strengthens morale\,
sense of belonging\, and employee retention. Join Learning and Organizatio
nal Development (L&OD) for a session that will explore how leaders can fost
er a psychologically safe environment and why people may feel psychological
ly unsafe without their leaders even realizing it.\n\nThis workshop is part
of L&OD's LEAD Events\, an initiative that provides employees with opportu
nities to learn or refresh skills that can help them grow their careers. LE
AD Events are a component of L&OD's Leadership Education and Development\,
 or LEAD\, program.
