Join Frankie Lee Peterson, who teaches contemporary dance at the North Carolina Dance Institute, for a dance class that will incorporate elements of breath work, conditioning, modern dance, floor work, improvisation, social dance and choreography. 

Peterson earned his high school diploma and Bachelor of Fine Arts in contemporary dance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Peterson received training in contemporary dance at the American Dance Festival, Springboard Danse Montreal, the Alonzo King LINES Dance Center and the Shen Wei Dance Arts. He has worked with contemporary dance companies such as Gaspard & Dancers, Helen Simoneau Danse and the Dallas Black Dance Theatre. Peterson has taught contemporary dance in California, New York, Texas, Georgia, Kansas City and North Carolina.
