Don't miss the day-long symposium and ongoing exhibition on Maciej and Stanislawa Nowicki, two significant figures in American and Polish architecture history. Stanislawa Nowicki was the first female architecture professor in the history of the United States, and Maciej Nowicki collaborated with renowned architects on prestigious projects before his untimely death.
The symposium and exhibition will occur at the James B. Hunt Library at NC State University. The symposium will be on the fourth floor at the Institute for Emerging Issues. The exhibition will be on the second floor near the rain garden reading lounge.
Hourly parking is available at the Poulton pay lot and the Partners Way parking deck.
The NC State School of Architecture, the Polish American Club of the Triangle, NC State University Libraries, the National Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning in Warsaw and the Polish Cultural Institute New York are co-presenters of the symposium and exhibition.
