Join Yale Ph.D. student Tianna Mobley as she describes her work on the underrepresentation of subaltern voices in the telling of Atlantic history and how she uses her podcast to share that history. She’ll discuss the creation, design, research and proliferation of podcasting and share avenues for digital humanities and applications of historical study in political science, policy and society.

Mobley earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history at Georgetown University. Mobley started her podcast when she was a Humanity in Action fellow and has continued the podcast as a personal project. She has also worked with students and communities on professional development, academic coaching, historical research and archival management.
