Elaine Orr will interview Marc Dudley about his latest project, Understanding Ralph Ellison. Dudley will interview Orr about her recently completed novel, The Dancing Woman. Orr and Dudley have known each other since he was a student in her Twentieth-Century American Literature class in 1998. They will talk about what sparks their projects, the process of writing and the evolution of their writing careers. Each will read a small passage from their books. They plan to leave plenty of time for Q&A.
