Join the NC State Department of Materials Science and Engineering for the fall Excellence in NC State MSE Graduate Research. Three MSE graduate students will give special presentations:

• Naveen Narasimhachar Joshi will present "Wafer-Scale Integration and Extraordinary Functional Properties of Q-Carbon Thin-Films."
• Konnor Koons will present "Low-Loss, Far-Infrared Surface Phonon Polaritons in SrTiO3 Membranes."

• Saeed Saeed will present "Understanding Complex Ion Insertion Mechanisms Using in Situ and Operando Tools to Advance Electrochemical Energy Technologies."
