Join the NC State Department of Materials Science and Engineering for a presentation by Farshid Ramezanipour, an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Louisville and an associated faculty with the Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research at the J.B. Speed School of Engineering. His research focuses on the rational design of materials for renewable energy. The main topics include the utilization of material-design principles to control the electronic/ionic charge transport, electrocatalytic activity for water splitting, lithium-ion transport in solids and energy storage. His talk is titled "Material Design for Energy Conversion and Storage: Impact of Structure-Property Relationships."
