Join Ken Miller, a cell biologist and professor emeritus of biology at Brown University, for a discussion of strategies for teaching evolution while acknowledging cultural and religious perspectives.

Miller is best known for his work discussing the teaching of evolution and the relationship between science and religion. Miller and Joseph S. Levine co-authored four popular biology textbooks used in schools nationwide. His co-authorship of these textbooks led to Miller's involvement in science advocacy when he was called as a witness in several court cases in the early 2000s, disputing the teaching of intelligent design in science curriculums. Since these appearances, Miller has written three books on evolution and religion. The books covered the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District court case and human evolution and reason.
