About this Event
1017 Main Campus Dr, Raleigh, NC
NC State's Office of University Interdisciplinary Programs and the Office for Faculty Excellence are pleased to present Cluster Conversations, a new series that will spotlight the Chancellor's Faculty Excellence Program. Members of one of the program clusters will join Rob Dunn, senior vice provost for University Interdisciplinary Programs, for an informal conversation about the exciting work faculty is conducting within their cluster currently and will do in the future.
The first Cluster Conversations of 2024 will feature faculty members Kelly Meiklejohn and Chau-Wai Wong and Ph.D. student Teresa Tiedge of the Forensic Sciences Cluster. They will give their thoughts on the future of forensic sciences and answer questions on many topics, including ink and dye classification, using DNA for black bear individual matching and machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Coffee and morning snacks will be available. Please register so we have an accurate headcount for catering purposes.
The Office Real Estate and Development is the event cohost. The event is free and open to all members of the Centennial Campus community, including private tenants and the public.
