Lake Raleigh, parking at Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center

Celebrate Earth Day by spending a few hours beautifying Lake Raleigh. Located on Centennial Campus, Lake Raleigh is a 75-acre lake amid a 96-acre protected forest. Volunteer tasks include collecting litter along greenway trails, natural trails or along/in the lake.

Date: Monday, April 22, 2024

Time: 1 pm - 4 pm*
- All volunteers must attend a safety training at 1pm. The duration of service is up to you though the event will conclude by 4 pm

Location and Parking: There will be 2 starting locations for this event.
- The first will be at the Lake Raleigh Fishing Pier, which is recommended for those walking/biking/busing from campus, though paid parking is available at the nearby Poulton lot on Partners Way if needed).
- The second will at the Park Alumni Center, where parking is free.

What to Bring: Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes. All other materials and supplies, such as gloves, will be provided.
