Rissi Palmer’s gift lies in reaching across all musical boundaries. While she made her mark in country music, she is equally at home in R&B, bringing the entire spectrum of popular music to bear on music she calls “Southern Soul.” She’s played at The White House, Lincoln Center and the Grand Ole Opry, and she was recently named one of the “Future 25 of Music” by Rolling Stone. Now we’re bringing Palmer and her band to Stewart Theatre as part of a year-long social justice residency with NC State LIVE

T-shirt giveaway: NC State LIVE will give away our 2021 George Hage-designed t-shirt to the first 15 NC State students to swipe in at the NC State LIVE table and show their tickets.

Pre-show talk: Join us in advance of the concert to hear Palmer talk about her journey through country music. Come with questions for this boundary-breaking star.  The talk will take place steps away from the theatre in Talley Student Union in Room 3285 at 7 p.m.
