Please drop by the African American Cultural Center gallery to explore poet Nikki Giovanni's published and autographed works housed in the center's library and archival materials on her campus visits to NC State from the Special Collections Research Center at NC State University Libraries. A community reading of Giovanni's poetry and works will be from noon to 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be available during that time frame in the African American Cultural Center Library. The afternoon will feature a showing of Giovanni's interviews and poetry readings. All are welcome to attend and reflect on the amazing life and impact of Giovanni, who died Dec. 9.
