Today’s world needs more low-carbon power than ever before. Advanced Small Modular Reactors have emerged as a key part of the federal government’s strategy to combat climate change and strengthen energy security. If you’re unfamiliar with ASMRs, they are innovative nuclear reactors, far smaller than a traditional power plant, capable of generating up to 300 megawatts of electricity — enough to power approximately 230,000 homes a year. But what are the advantages of ASMRs? How can they contribute towards meeting our future cleaner energy needs, and should the general public have concerns about them? Special guests will join us for a panel discussion about the of role ASMRs as we think about our future cleaner energy needs.

You can attend the session in person or watch a live stream. For those who are unable to attend the program in person, we are delighted to provide an option to stream it on YouTube.
