In this online talk, Venezuelan author and scholar Gisela Kozak-Rovero will offer an overview of the narrative produced by Venezuelan female authors in the 21st century. Authors will be presented within the framework of their aesthetic proposals: history and fiction; realism and political situation; privacy and memory; dystopias; narratives of disenchantment; and the exploration of genres (police, terror). Kozak-Rovero is currently a visiting researcher at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in Mexico City.
Kozak-Rovero's talk will be in Spanish.
